Gift Wrap and Crafting
So I found this fun and very inexpensive craft cart on www.ltdcommodities.com. For the past ten years or so I've discovered "crafting", whether it be rubber-stamping greeting cards, gift wrapping, or generally trying to be creative. I saw this cart and knew it would be a super way to stay organized. I have a "thing" for ribbon, so the dowels that hold this ribbon caught my eye. I love to personalize gifts by wrapping them in a funky way or adding a handmade card or tag. I've collected lots of stamps, paper (I looovvvveee special paper too!), ribbon, etc over the years. This cart won't hold it all but it definitely helps to keep my crafting kingdom organized. Tell me ways that you like to be creative.....are you planning anything handmade for your wedding?

Flaire Hoodie
So I have to give a shout-out to a recent bride Tyiesha. She and Charles got married at the Gramercy Mansion in June on a warm summer evening. They had a HUGE wedding party (26 people in all). I will be blogging about her wedding, complete with pictures of her hot pink theme, at a later date. In the meantime, I just had to post a pic of part of her thank you gift to me.

Here is my new hoodie being modeled by my beautiful daughter, Claire. She also gave me a Flaire tee shirt with my tag line "Add Flaire to your next event!" on it. Wow! Not only is it a super thoughtful gift, (where did you find the time Tyiesha?) but it's great advertising. So thanks for the sweet gift Tyi and what-is-sure-to-be a great business booster!
What's Your Favor?
Whether you’re having a party or a wedding, favors are a fun way to thank your guests for coming. I’m often asked if favors are necessary. My answer is no, not necessary. After all, you are providing them with a fun day or evening, complete with food and drinks. However, sending your guests home with a small gift at the end of your event is a “finishing touch” worth considering.
Justin and Natalie

This beautiful April wedding took place on a warm and sunny day in Baltimore. Justin and Natalie had come to me the year before, for assistance planning their wedding. Both originally from other states (Justin from Delaware and Natalie from Louisiana), they knew they wanted to wed in Baltimore but needed help finding the perfect church and reception venue. Most of their guests would be traveling from out-of-town, so they wanted to provide them with a fun and interesting Baltimore weekend. I had a fantastic time working with this wonderful couple.
