Scott and Amanda.... Spring Wedding at Swan Harbor Farms

We had a lot of fun working with Scott and Amanda on their Spring wedding at Swan Harbor Farms in Havre de Grace, Maryland.  They enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day for their outdoor ceremony and tented reception.  Scott and Amanda chose a hot pink, black, and white theme for their wedding.   Guests watched the ceremony while looking out over the Chesapeake Bay.

 

 

 

Beautiful pink and white Japanese lanterns lined the walkway and hung from the reception tent ceiling.  The black and white table linens complemented the high shine checkered dance floor.

 

 

 

 

A photobooth and custom ice bar and luge completed the party tent.  And partiers they were!  The dance floor was never empty and a great time was had by all.

Married at TJ Maxx? Really?

So I don't know if anyone caught the Today Show last Friday morning.  They had a segment about couples getting married in non-traditional places.  The couple they highlighted got married in a TJ Maxx....complete with walking down the shoe aisle.    Wow.  That's pretty creative and off beat.  It got me thinking about other "different" places couples tie the knot....while sky diving, under water, in-costume, etc.   Couples show a lot about themselves in their selection of their ceremony and reception venues.  What are some fun or crazy places you've heard of couples getting married?  Maybe you chose something different for your nuptials.  Let's hear about it!

New Flaire Logo

So after almost 4 years in business, I decided it was time to "freshen up" Flaire's logo.  My friend, Susan McArdle, at Just Ink on Paper designed a beautiful logo and business cards for me.   New Flaire postcards are in the works too.  Susan is a very talented graphic designer that creates fabulous stationary for many of my clients.   Thanks Susan.  I LOVE my new logo.  I'd also like to give a shout out to my friend, Joe Schatz, who does such an amazing job on my website.  He's from www.doogledesign.com.   Joe added my new logo to the website today and tweaked a few other things.  Thanks Joe!  You're the greatest!   Check out the before and after of Flaire's logo......
